Neben dem Säugling, der in Lumpen gewickelt war, lag ein Stück Papier, auf dem mit ungelenker Schrift geschrieben stand: »Ich heisse Sidonie Adlersburg und bin geboren auf der Strasse nach Altheim. Bitte um Eltern.«
